If you have a day to spare from the your or beautiful beach at Estartit, you may like to consider a few excursions in the area. The magnificent city of Barcelona is easily accessible in a couple of hours. Park your car at Flaca train station and catch on of the regular trains directly to the city centre. Also a day trip to the historical city of Girona is recommended. For the younger ages attractions in the area include aqua parks, zoo's and fair grounds. Not forgetting one of the daily trips out to the Medes Isles on the glass bottom boats or an afternoon at Jock's fair centre followed by the best rotisserie chicken's in town.
