Playa Flamenca has two main beaches to choose from but if you fancy a change then head to La Zenia, Campoamor or Guardamar which also have lovely wide sandy beaches. Torrevieja is just a 10 minute drive away and has a fun fair by the marina and a long promenade lined with cafes, snack bars, ice cream parlours and restaurants. It also has a shopping mall with cinema and bowling alley, fast food takeaways and a brilliant aquapark. Keep your eye out for the organised bus trips for a day out at Benidorm, Elche or Murcia. There is a tourist information centre in Playa Flamenca just next to the police station at the underpass that leads to the beach. Eating out then we recommend you consider the all you can eat buffets for great value or going a little more up market the Punta Prima restaurant, La Zenia Beach or Cabo Roig Marina restaurants all three overlooking the sea offer excellent menus.
